Boyle site includes a 300,000 sq. ft., 15-story hotel, 642 parking spaces, 37,600 sq. ft. of retail, 24,000 sq. ft. of office space, and 217 units of workforce and affordable housing. The proposed projects would be a design-build joint venture between the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Kawada Development, Inc. The project team includes Perkins Eastman, The Cunningham Group, Sierra Concepts Group, Ah’bé Landscape Architects and a large, complex team of consultants. The Gold Line Eastside Extension is to open in 2009.
